The proximity to the subway was something else. It helped a lot when after a days walk you got out of the subway in front of the hotel. It was always clean and tidy. The walk in shower was amazing.

Very Good

Location is very good, right at Rocafort station, 20 minutes walk to Casa Batlló. The room is not too small, and quiet enough. Bathroom is well lit and clean. Bed is average, could be better. Free WiFi works and it is fast enough.

Breakfast is really average and needs to improve. Example the scrambled eggs and bacon was not kept warm.

What was the highlight of Hotel Chi Barcelona

Nice and clean hotel in a great neighbourhood

The hotel is in a very convenient location, straight outside Rocafort metro station and a few minutes walking from Plaça d'Espanya. Plus, it is located in a very vibrant and safe neighbourhood, with a lot of restaurants and bars at walking distance. If you don't want a breakfast at the hotel, there's lot of bars nearby that open also very early in the morning. The room was comfortable and quite clean, with a minifridge at your disposal and very reasonable prices for the drinks (water was free). The possibility of leaving the luggage all day at the reception after check-out is very convenient.

While the room was clean, in general, the curtains were full of dust, and that was a bit of a problem for me sleeping near the window. The cleaning staff replaced the soap bar used only one day with a new one, and that's not sustainable.

This is a super good option for those who want comfort for an affordable price in Barcelona! The hotel was super close to the center, however the metro station was also right next to it, for the days I didn't feel like walking. The room was clean and comfy, I highly recommend staying here!

Clean and comfortable

Cleanliness, friendly staff, close to transport, efficient room cleaning, clean towels daily

Some noise from outside - whenever a bus or car passed, they hit a shaft cover and it made some noise. We got used to it. Otherwise you can’t hear the traffic at all (apart from motorbikes like Harleys..), nor the music or the neighbours in the corridor of the hotel. The soundproof isolation is spectacular.

Great room on a perfect location. The metro by the door was a big plus

Even during winter the room was a bit hot but the AC was off for the entire hotel, according to the reception. We had to sleep with the balcony door open

Very nice hotel at the nice boulevard

Very nice, pleasant area in the absolut downtown, directly at Rocafort metro station, and close to the highlights of Barcelona. The breakfast is a normal continental breakfast, nothing special, but perfect starting point for the Barcelona expedition days:). The rooms are very nice, modern furnished, and clean, the staff is very poilte and helpful. They helped us to rent a car by using a local (not knowned by me) car sharing application which was very flexible and cheaper than the big car rental companies

This is not the hotel's problem, but generally Barcelona's I am affraid. On the second day at the metro station pickpocketers stole my wallet with my personal documents, bank cards etc. It was very bad, the metro security service and the police were helpful, but they said that is chanceless to grab the criminals- although I showed them that the criminals tried to use one of my bank card with the exact location

5 nights visiting Barcelona

From the initial check in staff ,when we arrived early and were able to leave our bags securely , to the cleaning staff and lady in charge of breakfast all were very friendly , helpful and pleasant . Again on checking out we were able to leave our bags safely …we had one issue with toilet not flushing properly and after reporting this it was fixed by reception for our return to room a short while later . Location of Hotel Chi is excellent for visiting all the main attractions and with The Rocafort Metro station 30 yards away nowhere is out of reach….we used The Hola BCN card and found it good value for money including the use of the metro , to and from the Airport , buses and funicular at Montjuic…lots of cafes , bars and restaurants within easy walking distance with nearby redeveloped Bullring worth a visit for shops with rooftop views and restaurants Hotel wi fi was also excellent….Breakfasts had good selections with many choices . We had a room on 4th Floor to front and had no issues with traffic noise . Used the rooftop pool once after a busy long warm day and found it to be a nice relaxing area with the small shallow pool more than adequate for a refreshing dip…..

No issues while here….

Room is clean and there is enough space. Very little noise from the outside even considering that the hotel is on a very busy boulevard. The location was incredible, 10 minutes walk to Spain Square and 1 minute walk until the metro station Rocafort.

I don't have anything specifically to say. The price is not cheap.. but considering the facilities and the location it may be worth it.

Everything was amazing, I will definitely stay here when I revisit Barcelona!

Everything was phenomenal! The location, easiness of the check-in, cleanliness, the room… All of them was perfect. The staff was helpful, it was really fast to check-in. The room was extremely clean, they also cleaned it every day and refreshed everything (towels, shampoo, toilet paper etc.). The room had a balcony that sees the main street, we loved that. The room isn’t huge but definitely enough for 2 people. The bathroom was also nice and not so small. The best part is definitely the location. Right side goes to Plaça d’Espanya with like 10 minute walk and left side goes to Plaça de Catalunya with 20 minute walk (You can also use subways to go). There are subways everywhere and you can reach the closest one by walking 1 minute. (It’s right next to the facility) Neighborhood seemed safe and alive. There weren’t any noise that disturbed us. It was also really easy to reach from the airport. I have nothing bad to say about this place, will definitely stay in here again when I revisit Barcelona.
